How do I export a learner's data?

Parents and learners can download a JSON archive from Controls or WonderVault. Export is a rights request — it works on Free. Classroom xAPI dumps stay on classroom-capable plans.

Parent download

Open the child report → Controls → Export JSON. You get progress, non-lockboxed sessions, projects, essays, quizzes, interviews, and code. Lockboxed academic-struggle rows are omitted.

Self download

An independent learner calling the same export for their own profile receives lockboxed items because they are the data subject. Builder and older learners also see Export JSON in WonderVault.

Not a conversion funnel

Free accounts receive a file, not an upgrade message. Classroom xAPI export is different: that file dump still requires a Classroom or Family entitlement because it is an SIS integration, not a statutory rights request.

How do I delete a learner's data?
Open the child's Controls tab, type their name to confirm, and delete the profile. Related learning data is removed with it.
What data does WonderMind store?
Grown-up email and name, a child's first name and avatar, learning artifacts, hashed PINs, and optional anonymous analytics.
What does each plan include?
Free is the essentials. Premium is one serious learner. Family is four profiles plus classrooms. Pioneer Pro is independent 16+. Classroom is for teachers.
