TRUST & SAFETY

Safety is part of the lesson.

Learners should understand when an AI is useful, when it is wrong, and when a person needs to take over.

Age-aware moderation
Inputs and outputs pass stage-aware filters. Younger learners get buffered output screening before display.
Privacy Lockbox
Sensitive academic struggles for older learners are stored separately from parent-visible progress and Vault results.
Human handoff
Distress disclosures receive empathy and a trusted-adult or professional-support suggestion—not gamification or a lesson.
Academic integrity
Requests to submit AI work as a learner's own get a clear refusal and a redirect toward outlining, critique, and research skills.
No child messaging
The current product does not provide open one-to-one messaging between learners, reducing grooming and harassment risk.
Responsible deployment
Production operators still need human review operations, incident response, penetration testing, and jurisdiction-specific compliance work.

Read the how-to pages in the help center. Learners can tap Need a grown-up? in the kid workspace. Grown-ups can still email safety@wondermind.app. A human response depends on the deployed operator. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
