How does mastery work?

Objectives move from introduced to practiced to mastered. Mastery needs practice plus completed prerequisites.

Three states, not a percentage

Introduced means the idea has been shown. Practiced means the learner produced work — a quiz, prompt revision, project deliverable, or interview answer. Mastered means the evidence cleared the bar and every prerequisite is already mastered.

What counts as evidence

A Quiz Me or exam score of 80% or higher can mark mastery. Lower scores still count as practice. Projects use a rubric. Interviews store scored answers. Chat alone can introduce an idea; it is not enough to master it.

You cannot skip the foundation

The server refuses mastery when a prerequisite is still open. That keeps a Pioneer from “finishing” evaluation design before they can explain tokens.

What is a learning objective?
An objective is one specific AI-literacy skill with a Bloom level, prerequisites, a recommended activity, and a way to show evidence.
How do I use Quiz Me?
Quiz Me is a four-question multiple-choice check on any AI topic. It works from the home screen or inside a chat session.
How are projects evaluated?
Project templates include deliverables and a rubric for quality, evidence, safety, and learner agency.
