How does kid PIN login work?

Find the family by the grown-up's email, tap an avatar, and enter the four-digit PIN. The server checks the hash.

The three steps
I'm a learner → family email → avatar → PIN. The demo family is pre-filled so you can try Lily through Alex without creating an account.
If the PIN fails
After several wrong tries the login slows down. Check you picked the right avatar — each profile has its own PIN. A parent can create a new PIN only by replacing the profile or contacting support in production; in this app the parent sets the PIN at creation time.
Why not email for kids
COPPA-aligned design keeps child logins off email and off social identity providers. The parent account holds the email. The child account holds a first name, avatar, and PIN.
