What happens if a learner is in crisis?

WonderMind answers with care, drops the lesson, and points to a trusted adult or professional help. It is not a therapist.

The product response
Distress and crisis language skip badges, quizzes, and “great question!” energy. The Guide names support: a trusted adult now, and professional resources when the learner is old enough to use them.
In the United States
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available by call or text in the US. WonderMind does not replace those services.
Afterward
A safety event is recorded. For younger learners, parents see a wellbeing note. For Navigators, academic wording may be lockboxed, but a true crisis is not treated as a secret homework problem.
