How do parent controls work?

From a child's report you can set time limits, hidden subjects, exploration access, sensitive-topic alerts, and Co-pilot mode.

Updated 8/23/2026

Open the child's report
The parent dashboard lists every learner. Full report & settings opens Progress, Activity, WonderVault, and Controls. Controls is the only place younger learners cannot edit guardrails.
What each switch does
Daily minutes are enforced on chat, quizzes, exams, and labs. Hidden subjects never appear. Exploration access gates open-ended wander. Sensitive-topic alerts create parent-visible wellbeing notes for younger stages. Co-pilot mode exposes the shared curriculum map.
What you cannot turn off
Privacy Lockbox on Navigator and Pioneer is not a parent toggle. Stage jumps larger than one step from the age default are rejected. Deletion still requires typing the child's name.
